CK Small Arms Maintainer/Operator Systems Technician/ 25th ID HI
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing daily operations of synthetic weapons training site, assisting end users, and troubleshooting, repair, and support of CK systems supporting proprietary training scenarios.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and repair CK systems and equipment
- Manage daily operations of synthetic weapons training site.
- Ensure operational/deployable capability and readiness/availability of system
- Maintain weapons inventory and parts
- Perform system capabilities and limitations demonstrations.
- Provide application training/assistance to end users
- Deliver synthetic training in support of client's training requirements.
- Work with client to identify need for proprietary training scenario modifications
- Ensure accurate individual training data is captured by the system
- Provide system reports to client(s) as required.
- Provide technical support to client as required
- Operate, train the use of, disassemble, troubleshoot, maintain, and reassemble synthetic weapons as required. Meet expertise requirements set by the Program Manager
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Military experience strongly preferred (must be able to obtain Base Access)
- Enjoy training Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, both US and multinational.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multi-task Ability to present ideas to non-technical staff and end users
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Solid knowledge of computer hardware
- Experience with desktop operating systems
- Experience as a marksmanship instructor, minimum 3 years
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency with computer networking systems and cross-platform skills
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics required
- Must possess a valid passport
WORKING CONDITIONS
· The worker may occasionally be subject to both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, noise, vibration, and hazards such as moving mechanical parts, dust, and high places. The worker may be required to function in close quarters and narrow aisles or passageways.

TRAVEL
This job will require (40%) travel at the direction of the parent command in support of training exercises.
