Conflict Kinetics Awarded Advanced Small Arms Lethality Trainer (ASALT) contract in support of the U.S. Marine Corps
Reston, Va., November 14, 2023
Conflict Kinetics announced today it has been awarded the Advanced Small Arms Lethality Trainer (ASALT) task order a three-year, $11.3M contract by the U.S. Marine Corps to execute advanced training and readiness services for the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Training Support Services (MTSS) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) with Valiant Corporation serving as the Prime.
Conflict Kinetics’ ASALT focuses on enhanced combat marksmanship training via a total package solution comprised of training, operations, and maintenance support. The ASALT trainer provides a state of the art environment for Marines to shoot, move, and communicate while engaging multiple limited exposure, moving, and adaptive AI targets. ASALT delivers system usage, operational up time, Marine throughput, and immediate readiness and lethality data feedback for training audiences with after-action reviews, concepts, and sustained operational readiness. Additionally, the ASALT capability measures, tests, and pushes the Marine to unlock their Peak Human Potential in lethality while using advanced ASALT training scenarios, including fighting from covered and uncovered fighting positions while requiring critical fluid decision-making under stress. Key to ASALT is its ability to capture rich human performance data to inform better warfighter training, including the transfer to live fire and force-on-force training readiness. All while supporting the Marine in establishing the undeniable monopoly of violence on the battlefield.
“We are honored the U.S. Marine Corps has selected our technology to provide human performance optimization and advanced lethality training.” said Alison B. Rubin, Executive Vice President, Business Development, Conflict Kinetics.
As part of this contract, ASALTs will be provided to the U.S. Marine Corps in Camp Lejeune, N.C., Camp Pendleton, Calif., Marine Corps Base, Hawaii, Camp Smedley D. Butler in Okinawa, Japan, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, and the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms, Calif.
